Emeralds mark the sacred land
Found an altar.
With Gods, an altar is a chest with a sign: line 1 [GOD], line 2 the god’s name. If the god accepts you, the sign turns gold.
Sacred land is born.
You are the founder and Priest of the god’s cult. A circle around the altar becomes sacred land: only your people build there, and while the god is in a good mood no monsters spawn.
Pray and offer.
Right-click the sign with an empty hand: the bell rings and the god answers. Put ingots, gems, cooked food in the chest: a flash, and the god judges. Dirt and seeds insult him. Discover Gods →

The operator creates gods. Players found their altars and build a church around them.

The god sets a mission on the side board with its timer. Defence of the altar and the Hydra give five minutes to arm up, and a button to say you are ready. Refusals are counted, and armour is checked so nobody cheats.

How it plays
A church you build
The founder places the altar, the boundary of emeralds rises around it and the land inside is protected. Members join, pray and climb the ranks; the Pope and the cardinals can vote, migrate the altar or depose.
A god with moods
Offerings are weighed against what the god wants today. Its mood moves with your faith and your laziness, and it speaks in chat in its own voice.
Factions and wars
A faction lives around a hearth of burning wood that protects its home. Factions can declare war, make peace, ally, and the churches can go on crusade.
Locks
A [KEY] sign closes chests, barrels, doors and gates. Trust a player, a faction, a cult or every member above a rank, once, as a template for every new lock.

Works with
Gods works on its own. With these plugins installed they know each other, and more happens.
- Implore your god (Siege + Backrooms): from the Limbo, once per visit: the god sets a penance, and when it is done you are out.
- Safe ground (MMS): under sacred lands and faction homes with a lit hearth there is no darkness, stale air or Buried. Cave-ins, gas and floods still happen.
- Chests that are yours (Magic): Magic reads the locks, cults and factions of Gods to know whose chest it is. Without Gods it sorts only inventory and ender chest.
- A god that saves you (Siege): while you lie downed, your god can still raise you, not only your teammates.

Install
- Download the jarFrom Modrinth or Hangar. One file per plugin.
- Put it in pluginsCopy it into the

Every command also has its Italian form: /dio, /fazione, /serratura. On the server the plugin keeps its Italian name, Dio: the file is Dio-<version>.jar, the folder plugins/Dio, the chat prefix [Dio].

Configuration
Everything is in config.yml: radius of the sacred land, faith and mood, missions and their timers, punishments with their caps, factions and wars. The god’s phrases are in lang/. Data lives in YAML files saved off the main thread.
